St. Augustine is a city on the northeast coast of Florida. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches like sandy St. Augustine Beach. Lunch is at Barnacle Bills Seafood House. Lunch choices are as follows: 6 Piece Shrimp with Cole Slaw, Baked Potato and hush puppy; Grilled Teriyaki Chicken with Cole Slaw, Baked Potato and hush puppy; Parmesan Peppercorn Crusted Fresh Catch with Cole Slaw, Baked Potato and hush puppy; Shrimp Scampi over Angel Hair Pasta & Asiago Cheese Bread with herb butter. Pound cake with Strawberry topping for dessert. Soda, Tea or Coffee. Please make your lunch selection at the time of reservation.
We will visit the Lightner Museum who is hosting the “Dressing Downton” exhibit from the PBS show Downton Abbey. The collection of 36 costumes and accessories will be paired to perfection in engaging vignettes and immersed amongst Otto Lightner's collection of turn-of-the-century fine art and furniture. The Lightner collection includes beautiful examples of cut glass, Victorian art glass and the stained glass work of Louis Comfort Tiffany. In addition, many museum pieces in storage and others are presently being restored and will be on view for the first time as part of the exhibit.
Trip price includes transportation, lunch and The Lightner Museum. Trip is based on a minimum of 35 people.
